What we're known for
Georgian food is bread, cheese, and dumplings done with serious love. Start here — every regular did.
Boat-shaped bread, exceptionally airy crust, sea of melted cheese, a runny egg cracked in just before it hits the table. Tear, swirl, eat with your hands.
Hand-pleated soup dumplings with juicy beef-and-pork inside. Bite a small hole in the top, sip the broth, then eat the rest. Skip the knife and fork.
Pork mtsvadi grilled the old way — chunks, skewer, fire. Kababi is the herby ground-meat cousin. Both come with onions, plum sauce, and shoti to mop the plate.
Press & word-of-mouth
"A casual, welcoming cafe and bakery in Coney Island… exceptionally airy bread , and mixed beef-and-pork khinkali outrageously juicy, but sturdy enough to hold up well on your walk to the beach."
"The acharuli was huge, hot, and the egg was perfect. Got khinkali to go and they survived the train ride to Coney with us."
"Real Georgian, not the watered-down version. The shoti bread comes out so soft you eat half of it before the rest of the food arrives."

Our story
We bake shoti and khachapuri all day, pleat khinkali by hand, and stock the front counter with sour cherry juice, tarragon soda, plum sauces and pickles brought in from home. It's the same food we'd make for our own families — that's all.
